Why Shia Families in Canada Choose Alkosar
Shia Muslim families across Canada — from Toronto, Mississauga, and Ottawa to Calgary, Edmonton, and Vancouver — often face long commutes in winter to reach Shia community centers. Alkosar Online Quran Academy provides personalized home learning directly with authentic Shia teachers.
All classes are conducted live, one-on-one, over video call. Your child or you connect directly with a qualified Shia teacher who teaches Quran recitation, Tajweed, Ja'fari Fiqh, and Islamic studies in full alignment with the tradition of the Ahlulbayt (A.S.). There are no crowded groups, no generic curricula — only dedicated, individual instruction.
We accommodate all Canadian time zones: Eastern Time (EST/EDT) in Ontario and Quebec, Central (CST/CDT) in Manitoba and Saskatchewan, Mountain (MST/MDT) in Alberta, and Pacific (PST/PDT) in British Columbia. Morning, after-school, and weekend slots are available 7 days a week.
